Transcargo Awarded First ISO 28000 Certificate

and DAS (UK) awarded the first certification for ISO
28000:2007 Supply Chain Security Management System in Uruguay to
TRANSCARGO ZFM.
Following a path of innovation and leadership, this new event is a milestone for Transcargo as the certificate is the first to be issued in the country under the ISO 28000:2007 standards.
The ISO 28000:2007 standard specifies the requirements for a supply chain security management system, linking security management to many other aspects of business management, which include activities that impact on supply chain security, such as transportation of goods along the supply chain. The scope of the certification includes transportation from airport/port to the free trade zone, reception of goods, verification of contents, storage, picking and packing and delivery of products to local and foreign customers and to freight forwarder to export.
